Services for Older Adults
Saint Ann’s at Laureate is designed for the inpatient needs of individuals 55 years and older experiencing problems with depression, psychosis, anxiety, behavioral disturbances, mania and acute mental status changes of unknown origin. Often these patients are treated by their primary care physician on an ongoing basis, but may need periodic stabilization for their mental health conditions. In addition, these patients may have co-occurring medical conditions that must be monitored carefully by the program staff and medical personnel.
The program is dedicated to seniors; with group therapies, structured activities and individual assistance in activities of daily living with special care and attention to provide activities and tasks that are appropriate to the cognitive abilities and interests of the patient. It is a secure facility with trained staff dedicated to providing the finest quality care, evaluation, assessment and assistance in planning for the needs of the patient following discharge.
